Room 1

Room 1  is ideal for one-to-one individual work, is spacious to contain a couple with a therapist (ie three people) and can manage a small meeting or group (eg 4 people round a table with adequate space for flipcharts etc). It is the room adjacent to the reception area and the primary fire exit that is wheelchair-accessible.  This may be the room to choose when working with clients who have mobility problems.

There is a desk for pre/post- session note taking.  The windows are covered with obfuscating covers which let daylight through but prevents people from looking in. Several lamps to offer various levels of lighting. sound-confidentiality is protected by an electronic, volume-controlled sound-machine attached to the outside of the room.
