How does a systemic couple counsellor ask questions of a relationship? Making interventions of individuals ("how do you feel about that?") doesn't actually address the relationship itself.

Having a disabled child in the family can bring an extra layer of stress, anxiety, financial worries and relationship problems on top of the 'usual' stresses that occur whenever a child is born. Whilst mothers of disabled children certainly don't have it easy, women in general are better at finding support than men are. Marple Cross is setting up a support group for fathers of disabled children to provide a safe space for them to share their expeiences with others.
